How to maintain a Reputation for Positive Messages.

Last week we discussed how you could effectively blacklist yourself on email servers. Blacklisting is when emails are blocked because they have been marked as spammers. That places them on a Blacklist, blocking their emails from reaching their destination.
Legitimate users may be wrongly identified as spammers based on their habit of sending e-mails. This affects the deliverability of emails. It is in your best interests to do whatever you can to keep your email deliverability high. To do this you need to maintain a positive reputation for email. If not, you risk not getting your emails meet your target audience.
What's affecting reputation for email? Do you know how to check, track and boost your email credibility when possible? If not, then read on to find the answers and some helpful tools to support.

Reputation Server What is an e-mail domain? For example, frescodata.com is an email domain, in johndoe@frescodata.com. Several factors influence its image.
The Domain Age is significant. If the email has just been registered it will be considered by default suspicious. This is because email can only build credibility over time. It's a good idea to fire up a new email domain to send out tailored marketing and sales promotions before using it. You can do this by sending out a few emails a day for the first few weeks of its registration.
Domain credibility is also influenced by how business and industry, education, banking, dating, or gambling are categorized on the internet.
To better monitor your email domain's credibility, we suggest configuring a separate domain for outbound campaigns. It will help ensure that the credibility of your primary email remains intact; plus, if your outbound email's credibility is compromised, you can always turn to a new one for prospecting.

Keep in mind that it takes about 1-2 months for new domains to develop a strong reputation. We therefore suggest that all email addresses on a new domain be warmed up before standard email campaigns start to be sent out.

How to warm up a new email domain You need to warm up new email domains as we described. You will send out a couple of emails on the new domain a day to do so. You can also answer some of the emails that you send out. Daily use of email can help build a good reputation among blacklist servers in your new domain.
Start by sending 5-10 hand-typed emails a day at first. As time goes by, the number is raised to 20, then 30 emails a day.
Start sending email campaigns about a week after the warm-up cycle, but remember not to send 30 emails a day to 500 emails a day. This form of activity will make you blacklisted, as email volume spikes from your domain will activate anti-spam filters and suggest possible spammer behaviour.
Your email campaigns are never intended to reach thousands of prospects. Instead, the plans for more effective prospecting plans will be smaller, segmented and customised. We suggest sending as many as 50 new emails a day is enough to keep your outreach smooth.
For a good email reputation the deliverability of your emails will increase. Before you start serious outreach campaigns, this makes it important to check and address all the problems that might impact it.

Server IP Reputation Basics The email server IP also holds a credibility, along with the domain credibility. It depends on your email service provider, but you can also watch it to check for irregularities that might impact your credibility for email.
If you send messages using an email given by Google you will be assigned an Address from Google. If you use an email configured with an SMTP and IMAP on your server, you'll be assigned an IP from a host server — for example, GoDaddy.
Often the IPs you are receiving from your email provider already have a reputation that is tied to them. For this reason we recommend that you test your email server IP before sending any email campaigns.

How to Determine Your IP Email Server At FrescoData, we suggest using Mail-Tester to search for other email servers and see whether your email looks like spam. This allows you to search for free up to three messages a day. This tool will also show you the server where your email was sent. We're going to walk you through the use below.
